I bought this CD when it was a mere cassette, about six years ago, and it still gets lots of play. "Story of Isaac," in particular, still strikes a nerve close to the main aorta. Perhaps to truly feel the deep import of this song, one must have a child him/herself.

Dec 10,  · Hi guys, Have a Sony TCKs cassette deck for about 10yrs but it's as new and well looked after, heads and rollers clean regularly. Sometimes (for a couple of yrs now) when starting to play a tape the sound goes low and dull intermittently or at times very dull for about a minute or two and then comes back and might continue to do this during 3 or 4 songs.

Nov 29,  · Another thing to keep in mind is that the "type" is in no way an indicator of quality - it merely specifies the bias and equalization standards it was intended for. There are good and bad examples of all types (although I doubt there's very many bad Type IV!). Cheers, Larry B.
